Show ART STUDENTS EXHIBIT IN SHOW AT PROVO Several potential artists from Springville have their works on exhibit at Keeleys in Provo and all are receiving much praise from visiting art patron.s and critics. The pictures will be on display until November 1. Throughout the summer months, members of the Springville Art Guild have met regularly at various var-ious scenic spots in Springville, Mapleton, Salem Lake, the Fish Hatchery and other places to record re-cord in color, the things they have seen, Instruction has been under the direction of Richard Gunn and many fine pieces of art have resulted. While there are no prizes offered offer-ed in the current showing of this work, a record is made to determine deter-mine which is most popular with visitors. The paintings are being shown at the invitation of a Provo art studio, by Mrs. Eva Bird and Mrs. Arlena Holley of Mapleton, Mrs. Leslie Hales. Mrs. Hannah Clyde, Mrs. Marie Whiting, Mrs. LaRue Sanders, Mrs. Lucille Weight and Mrs. LaPreal Friel of Springville |
