Show Hunters, Report lianded Pheasants This year hunters are asked to watch for, and report banded pheasants. Approximately 4,000 pheasants have been banded with an aluminum band on the leg and released from various places in the state during the past season. Studies of ways to improve the hunting through stocking of game-farm game-farm birds have been under way this season. In order to determine the success of the various methods used in transplanting the game-farm game-farm stock, it is imperative that the game technicians of the State Department get all possible information on banded birds killed by hunters during the season. Hunters are urged to report the bands' numbers to the, Fish and Game Department, 500 Atlas Building, Salt Lake City, or to their local game warden. |
