Show MORE HOSPITALS . NEEDED IN UTAH Experts estimated today that Utah is 4000 hospital beds short of the minimum requirements needed for a state of this size. The estimate was made by the State Division of Hospital Survey Sur-vey and Construction and announced announ-ced by Dr. Welby W. Bigelow, acting state health commissioner. The survey showed that Utah should have 955 more general hospital hos-pital beds, 1184 more for use in treatment of chronic diseases, 1839 more in mental and psychiatric hospitals, 69 more in tubercular hospitals and 14 in public health centers |
