Show Mr. Arvil Bird, In company with his mother, Mrs. May Bird and sister, Mrs. Manila Brown, left Friday on an extended business and vacation trip to the East via bus. They plan to spend some time in Chicago, Detroit, where Mr. Bird is purchasing an auto-moblie, auto-moblie, Boston, New York,, Washington, Wash-ington, and other points of interest. They will visit Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harding (Aileen Bird) in New York and also visit Mrs. Bird's' sister, Mrs. Arch Combs and family at Sutherland, Nebraska, Neb-raska, on their return trip. They expect to toe gone two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wight-man Wight-man and two children, Dickie and Judy, of Arcadia, Calif., spent the past week visiting with relatives and friends in Springville. They left early this week for home but left their son here to visit with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Condie and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wightman. vHe is staying at the Wightman home. Mrs. Beulah Whiting and Mrs. Christina Chase of Provo spent Thursday in Ogden at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Spring-meyer. Spring-meyer. Mrs. Chase is the mother of Mr. Springmeyer and Mrs. Whiting is the mother of Mrs. Springmeyer. t Mr. and Mrs. Don Eachel of Salt Lake City, spent Saturday night and part of Sunday visiting with Mrs. Eachel's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carrol Waters and family fam-ily enroute to Bryce Canyon and Grand Canyon. Mrs. Robert J. Conrad and two daughters have been spending the past two weeks at Mrs. Conrad's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Condie. She left early this week to join her husband in San Francisco, Fran-cisco, Calif., where Mr. Conrad is employed. They had been residing resid-ing in Eugene, Oregon, where Mr. Conrad had been attending the University of Oregon and from where he received his Master's Mas-ter's degree in Accounting. He graduated last year from the B. Y. U. |
