Show Home Helpers Meet For Sewing Lesson The Home-Helpers 4-H Club conducted a regular meeting at the home of Mrs. Leah Crandall on Thursday afternoon and received re-ceived instruction on the sewing project. The girls are sewing on a child's article. At the close of the instruction period and meeting, light refreshments refresh-ments were 'served to the club members by the leader. News Notes Dr. and Mrs. Fred Wise have been visiting in Colorado with Dr. Wise's parents. Dr. Wise returned to Springville while Mrs. Wise went on to New Mexico for a visit with her folks, returning to Springville Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Delahunty and baby of Boise Idaho, have returned re-turned to their home after a two weeks visit with Mrs. Delahun-ty's Delahun-ty's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Johnson, and relatives and friends in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Delahunty Delahun-ty is the former Gwenevere Johnson. John-son. Misses Thelma Waters and Ann Whiting returned last week from an enjoyable visit in Idaho where they visited several cities and places of interest. They stayed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Munns, Thornton, Idaho. Fifteen, hoy scouts of Mapleton enjoyed a four-day camp trip recently re-cently at Arrowhead resort taking swimming lessons and also receiving re-ceiving instructions on boating. Scoutmaster Harold Gividen directed dir-ected the outing. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Richins and children are making their home near Canyon Station, Yellowstone Park while Mr. Richins is on construction con-struction work. |
