Show Services Held Tues. In First Ward For Charles L. Fry Many friends and relatives paid tribute to the life of Charles L. Fry at funeral services conducted in the First ward Tuesday, under the direction of Bishop John Y. Bearnson of the Fifth ward. Also at graveside services held at Morgan Mor-gan city cemetery where interment inter-ment took place under the C. O. Claudin Mortuary supervision. Mr. Fry, 64, died Saturday morning following an extended illness. He was born Nov. 25, 1885 in Morgan, Utah, a son of Richard and Susan Lerwill Fry. In 1902 he married Laura Gary in Ogden and they were married later in the Salt Lake Temple in 1916. She died in 1918. He married Elizabeth Westoby, Feb. 21, 1920 in Ogden and in 1929 they moved to Springville where they have (made their home ever since. Mr. Fry served as field superintendent superin-tendent for the Eddington Canning Can-ning Company during his life here and previously worked 15 years in the same capacity for the Morgan Mor-gan Canning Company. He was an Elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a member of the Fifth ward. Survivors include his v widow, five sons, Leland Fry, Robert Harris Har-ris Fry, Los Angeles, Calif., Otto R. Fry, Charlie Fry, and James Fry all of Springville; six daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Walter (Florece) Goc-lon Goc-lon and Mrs. Ray (Grace) Mor-dica, Mor-dica, both of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Laura Lewis, , American Fork; Mrs. Milton G. (Mildred) Johnson and Mrs. Sandy (Don-nette) (Don-nette) Reda, both of Provo; and Miss LaRae Fry, Springville; one brother, George Fry, Morgan; two sisters, Mrs. Eb Crouch and Mrs. Frank Robinson, both of Salt Lake City; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. |
