Show STRIKES INCREASE SINCE PASSAGE OF WAGNER ACT Strikes have been three times as widespread and one and a quarter quar-ter times as costly to the national economy since passage of the Wagner Act, Dept. of Labor figures fig-ures show. The average number of strikes has been 237 percent higher; average number of employees em-ployees affected 177 percent higher high-er and average man-days lost 26 percent higher.
