Show NATIVE OF THIS CITY DIED TUES. AT BINGHAM John Walter Anderson, 52, a prominent Bingham mining foreman fore-man and a former mayor of Eureka, Eure-ka, died in a Bingham haspital Tuesday at 11:45 a. m., after a lingering lin-gering illness. Born Aug. 29, 1894, at Springville, Spring-ville, a son of John P. and Kate Bird Anderson, he lived here during dur-ing his earlier life, and later went to Mammoth, where he was city councilman and recorder, and Eureka, Eu-reka, where he was major. He also " was a member of the Moose lodge. At the time of his death he was general foreman of Bingham district, dis-trict, U. S. Mining, Smelting and Refining Co., and has resided in Bingham for 16 years. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Manila Norman Anderson; two daughters, Mrs. Gordon Jensen Jen-sen and Mrs. Malcolm Robertson; a son, John Anderson, and two grandchildren, all of Bingham canyon; can-yon; the following sisters: Ida Grady. Beverly Hills, Calif.; Mrs. Winifred Loupe, Los Angeles; Mrs. Mearl Brough, Tooele; Mrs. Ethel Titus, San Francisco, and Mrs. Louise Anama, Seattle, Wash. Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted Friday at 1 p. m. in the Bingham ward chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. Burial will be in Springville cemetery. |
