Show FORMER RESIDENT DIED IN SALT LAKE LAST WEEK . . i Mrs. Annabelle Johnson Weight, 76, died at her residence in Salt Lake Wednesday of causes incident inci-dent to age, She was born Nov. 25, 1870, in Springville, a daughter of Aaron and Sarah James Johnson. An active ac-tive member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she worked in the Relief Society and other church auxiliaries and organizations until her health failed several , months ago. She was an early Springville pioneer. Her father was bishop of the First LDS ward in Springville for 40 years. He was also the first judge in Utah county, and one of the few early LDS pioneers to receive re-ceive the title of brigadier general, U. S. Army. Surviving are four sons and daughters, Leonr'M. Weight. Provo; Royden E. and Burtram A. Weight, and Mrs. Delia W. Phillips, all of Salt Lake City; two sisters, Mrs. Austin H. Roylance and Mrs. Burt Miner, and a brother, Wayne Johnson, John-son, all of Springville; 14 grandchildren grand-children and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services conducted Saturday Sat-urday in Harvard LDS ward chapel. |
