Show 'BEGIN THIS MONTH TO MAKE AN ATTRACTIVE GARDEN The following suggestions should be followed during Febru-1 Febru-1 ary, if you are to have an attrac-j attrac-j tive garden for the Centennial year: I Prune trees and shrubs; cut out I dead wood, injured wood, limbs ! crossing each other, limbs dangerous danger-ous to property; prune for shape and paint wounds. Shrubs should be pruned at the i base. Cut ' old wood first, it will stimulate new growth. Sow the annual seeds as: petunia, pe-tunia, snapdragon, ageratum, sweet allyssum, lobelias, asters, nicotiana, salpiglossis, calendula, zinnia, marigold, in the cold frame, sash house or in pots in the house.
