Show FUNERAL TODAY IN 2ND WARD FOR MRS. ELDA JOHNSON Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted today at 1:00 p. m., in the Second ward chapel for Mrs. Elda. Hansen Johnson, 44, wife of Eugene Johnson of this city, who 'died Monday morning at a Salt Lake City hospital, of complications following a major operation. Friends may call at the family residence, 360 East, Eighth South street, from 10 a. m., today until time of the services, which will be conducted by Bishop Oliver H. Dalton. Burial will be in the Evergreen Ever-green cemetery by Claudin Funeral Fun-eral Home. Mrs. Johnson was born in Richfield Rich-field June 21. 1902, a daughter of Peter and Maggie Christensen Hansen. For a number of years prior to her marriage, she taught in Nebo district schools. She attended at-tended schools at Richfield and graduated from Brigham Young University. She was married to Mr. Johnson Feb. 1, 1942, in the Manti temple, and they had made their home in Springville since. She was active in church work, having served in the Mutual Improvement Im-provement Association in the Second Sec-ond ward and in other auxiliary oranizations. She. was. a-member of the Ladies Literary club and also of the Current Study club. Survivors include her husband and three children, Anne, Neill and Merrill Johnson, Springville; also two sisters, Mrs. Printha H. Stewart Stew-art of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Myrtel H. Evans of Blackfoot, Idaho; Id-aho; two stepbrothers, Devon Ford, Springville, and Claire Ford of Richfield. |
