KENSINGTON SOCIETY HONORS MRS. WELCH Members and friends of the Kensington Society of the Presbyterian Presby-terian Community church met for a meeting and party last Wednesday Wednes-day at the home of Mrs. Charles Franks to honor Mrs. D. B. Welch, for many years an active member of the organization. A one-thirty o'clock luncheon was enjoyed by a large group of ladies, and a lovely love-ly gift was presented to Mrs. Welch who has gone to Walnut Creek, Calif., to join her husband who has been in that locality for some time. On another occasion, she was presented with a farewell gift from the Home Culture club, of which organization she was president twice during her twenty-five twenty-five years of membership.
