Show FARM PRICES ARE REPORTED TO BE GOING HIGHER On the average, Utah prices for farm commodities were higher on Jan. 15, 1947, than one Dec. 15, 1946, today reported the statisticians statistic-ians of the Department of Agriculture. Agri-culture. . Oats emoved up 6 cents per bushel, while wehat and barley ruled steady. Cattle and sheep prices increased and hog and lamb prices were steady. Eggs and dairy products showed weakness from last December peaks. However, egg prices are still at the highest January level since 1920. Although butterfat declined from its peak, the present pres-ent price to the producer is the highest on record for Jan. 15. |
