Show j (Paragraphs Otj Interest . . . j Boulder, Colo., Oct. 28 Russell Groesbeck from Springville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Berton Groesbeck, is chairman of the rally and torchlight torch-light parade committee f or the 1947 Homecoming celebration at the Unfversity of Colorado on October 31 and November 1. Theme for the festival, "Don't Fence Us In," is in line with the program for future development of the university. One of the features fea-tures of Homecoming this year will be Varsity Nights, a fast-paced fast-paced show with a student cast of more than seventy-five. Climax of the festivals will be the traditional tradi-tional Buffalo Barbecue on Satur-day, Satur-day, Nov. 1, for an expected crowd of 3,000 alumni and friends, followed fol-lowed by the Colorado-Utah football foot-ball game at 2 p. m. Wills, attended the banquet sponsored by the Republican Re-publican party in Provo on Saturday Satur-day evening, and heard Republican Senator Baldwin, of Connecticut, talk. |
