Show CONTEST OFFERED FOR 1948 The junior Livestock Feeding contest as sponsored by the Ex tns,on Service and F.F.A. leaders m cooperation with the Utah-Idaho Utah-Idaho Sugar Company will continue con-tinue again during the 1947-1948 feeding period, according to ord received today by S. R. Boswell, Utah county agent, from Arthur Eskolaon. district manager Utah-Idaho Utah-Idaho Sugar Company at West Jordan, Utah. One of the rules of the contest is that a 4-H member or an- F F A boy shall feed one beef animal tins winter for each acre of sugar beets the member raised in 1947 Winners of the contest for the 1916-1947 period which have not been previously announced are as follows : 4"H Ralph Anderson, Benjamin, Benja-min, first prize, 525.00; Franklin Caras, Benjamin, second prize, $15.00; Dorene Engle, Lake Shore, third prize, $10.00. F.F.A. Vaughn Francis, Lake Shore, first prize, $25.00; Dean Tew, Mapleton, second prize, $15.00; Glen Hawkins, Benjamin, third prize, $10.00. Checks for the winners will be .presented to them in the very near future, by Mr. Eskelson. |
