Show FUNDS REPORTED AVAILABLE FOR NEW HOSPITALS Action on Utah's allocation plan for approximately 750 new hos- j pital beds awaits only the submission sub-mission of applications, acting State Health Commissioner Wel-by Wel-by W. Bigelow said. j Bigelow said state funds are available to go ahead with the plan. A letter received from the U. S. public health service by the j state department of health has revealed approval of $365,100 in ' federal matching funds. The federal agency says that Utah's plan was the first approved ap-proved as well as the first received re-ceived from the mountain states. Bigelow expects the first appli-! cations to come from Vernal for a new hospital and from the Utah Valley hospital for an extension of present facilities. |
