Show 85 CARLOADS OF FOOD SENT BY CHURCH TO EUROPE With departure of nearly five carloads of food and clothing for Europe last week, total shipments by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints welfare committee com-mittee to Europe will reach 85 carloads, leaders said Saturday. These shipments will fill all existing ex-isting authorizations for relief by the church to Europe. Shipped last week were a carload car-load of wheat from Kaysville, a carload of canned foods and a car- . load of first aid supplies from Salt Lake City all three to go to Germany Ger-many and a car of food and clothing to Finland. It was the first bulk shipment to Finland and is expected to take care of all needy LDS church members there. This week a car of canned goods from Brigham City will leave for Germany and two-thirds of a car of food from Los Angeles will begin be-gin its journey to Germany. Eighty carloads of food and clothing had "been shipped by the church .to European countries previously.
