Show 'Delpkians cAre Thanked For 'Books To Boys Through efforts of the Mt. Maple Ma-ple chapter of Delphian, a project was initiated recently in which a number of books were collected and sent to the Bushnell General Hospital at Brigham City. In appreciation of the gift, a letter let-ter was received by Mrs. Earl Con-die, Con-die, corresponding secretary of the society, expressing appreciation for the books. The letter was sent by Lt. Merlene Tew, head dietitian at the hospital, and is as follows: "Your worthwhile gift of thirty-two thirty-two books was received and delivered deliv-ered to the library. I am sure that it is a gift which will be appreciated appreciat-ed for years to come, and will provide pro-vide many hours of pleasure for the boys of the Bushnell General Hospital. "In behalf of the boys, I should like to thank all of the members of the Mt. Maple Chapter of Delphian Del-phian Society who have so generously gener-ously contributed these books to make this gift possible. The joy and entertainment derived from the books will compensate many times for your generosity and kindness. "May you have success in your organization and always find joy through service." Members of the Delphian Society Socie-ty of which Mrs. M. R. Straw Is president, also wish to take this opportunity to express their thanks to guests of the Delphians, who contributed books to this project. |
