Show The Frank Springers Are Honored At Midway Complimentary to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Springer, nee Louise Patrick, Pat-rick, who were recently married, a wedding dance was given in the Midway Social hall Saturday night. The bride was attired in a powder pow-der blue gown and wore a corsage of orchids and pink rosebuds. The bride's mother, Mrs. Patrick, and the groom's mother, Mrs. Springer, wore corsages of sweet peas and rosebuds. The hall was decorated with a profusion of spring flowers and one corner was decorated in an arch shape, where serving was conducted con-ducted by the groom's sisters, Mrs. Dean Olsen and Mrs. George Whitely. The Misses Marion, Erma, and Elma Patrick were in charge of the gifts. An entertaining program was given, with George Whitely acting as master of ceremonies. NUTRITION More than 700 experts in medicine, medi-cine, public health, social work, nursing, nutrition, farming, education, edu-cation, industry, government and labor have been invited to attend at-tend a conference on national nutrition nu-trition by Paul V. McNutt. The meeting will be held in Washington Washing-ton in the near future. |
