Show Mothers Study 1 Club Holds Meet Mrs. Mae Huntington entertained entertain-ed at her home Saturday afternoon after-noon for the Mothers Study club. Mrs. Hilda Cherrington was in charge and asked Mrs. Floss Taylor Tay-lor to read the club collect. Mrs. Cherrington announced the book review by Miss Helen Kimball Kim-ball on Saturday, April 19 in the high school auditorium and also the district club convention which will be held in the Third - Ninth ward chapel Saturday, April 26. Miss Maria Johnson spoke on Youth Conservation pointing to the fact that children should be watched, directed and disciplined. There was a trend a while back j i to let children go uncurbed but the newer method is to direct, she said. Mrs. Frances Clark entertained with vocal selections, accompanied by Mrs. Mary Bird and Marj played two piano selections. The next meeting of the cluy was announced for April 8, to be at the Art Gallery at 7:30 p.m. |
