Kivanis CEub Prepares Minstrel Show For Thurs., April 10, As Art Benefit Plans are progressing for the Kiwanis Club Minstrel show to be given on Thursday, April 10, at 8 p.m., in the high school auditorium, auditor-ium, officers announced today. The Kiwanis club meeting this evening will be turned into a rehearsal re-hearsal for the performance with the practicing of songs and other parts. There will be dinner . and practice instead of a speaker at Chicken Roost at the usual time. The show is being planned as an art benefit, the Kiwanis club having hav-ing taken over the project of raising rais-ing funds with which to purchase the state of "Mother and Chijd" coming from Italy. ' Featuring several one-act skits interspersed by song, the Kiwanis show is expected to be one of the best ever put on. Mrs. Mary Bird and Glenn Holley will act as accompanists. ac-companists. There is plenty of talent in the club and practically every member will take part. Tickets may be secured from club members or at the door. There will also be a matinee for children child-ren on Wednesday at 4:15 p.m. at the high school.
