Wheeler and Sanford scored high- est for the losers. Third won an easy victory over Seventh, 45-20, with Childs hitting for 21 points and Smith getting 16. Eighth squeezed by First in a close and interesting battle, 35-32. Jay Stewart Stew-art led the winners with 15 count- 6TS. Saturday night Ardeen Childs outscored the entie Fifth ward club by ringing up 34 points, as Third trounced them 68-27. Smith and Thorpe rang up 14 and 13 points, respectively. Scoring for Fifth was on an even basis. Ninth won an exciting extra period game from First, 34-31. . Martin led the winners. Williams dunked 14 for the losers. Eighth surprised the Sixth warders with a 44-38 win after a ding-dong battle all the way.
