Show Services Conducted Wednesday For Mrs. Zina Kendall Funeral services were conducted in the Mapleton ward chapel Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Zina Sessions Burningham Kendall, Ken-dall, 92, who died Sunday. Bishop Oscar Whiting was in charge. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery, under direction of Claudin Clau-din funeral home. Mrs. Kendall, one of the oldest residents of this area, was born in Bountiful, December 4, 1858, a daughter of Perrigrine and Masu Cole Sessions. She was married to Thomas Burningham, April 15, 1880, in Salt Lake City. He died in 1897. She was married to Silas Kendall and the family moved to Roosevelt. After his death she resided in Mapletn, and Salt Lake City before coming to Springville in 1946. In her early years she was active ac-tive in auxiliary organizations of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mrs. Kendall outlived her five son and daughters. Surviving are two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eight great - great - grandchildren; eight brothers, Wallace O., Thomas, Al-vin Al-vin and Ezra Sessions, Bountiful; James C. Sessions, Clearfield; Calvin Cal-vin Sessions, Farmington; Heber John Sessions, Brigham City; Le-R.oy Le-R.oy Sessions, Ogden; four sisters, Mrs. Patty S. Scott, Byron, Wyo.; Mrs. Lillis C. Egan and Mrs. Olivia Waddoups, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Susan Meath, Bountiful. |
