Show Flower Wilt Fungus Stopped by Sulphur v If your roses, delphiniums, lilacs, or other flowers start to wilt, look on the underside of the leaves. If there is a white, fuzzy growth, your plants probably have powdery mildew a frequent garden visitor in late July and August. Sulphur, in either dust or spray form, applied according to directions direc-tions on the package, will take care of the fungus attack. Powdery mildew usually strikes where there is heavy foliage and little movement of air. |
