First it lived at Helper, then Provo, then it came to Springville and now Nephi and all just to stimulate inter-club relations between the various var-ious Kiwanis clubs. The little pig story will probably end when the big pig is returned to Helper and served at an inter-club banquet Twenty-three local club members mem-bers made up the group which motored mo-tored to Nephi Monday night to present the program at the inter-club inter-club meet. Sterling E. Price, president of Greater Utah Valley, Inc. was the principal speaker and he explained ex-plained the organization and functions func-tions of the GUV the purpose of which is to boost the valley and its assetts. Mrs. Mary Bird entertained enter-tained with accordian selections. Outing Tonite Club members and their families fam-ilies will assemble at Kelly's Grove tonight for the annual summer" outing. Each family will bring their own lunch. Those who desire may go early and participate in games and other sports. The lunch will take place at 6:30 p.m., and will be followed by a program. Arrangements for the evening are under direction of Vernon Cook and Jackson Howard. |
