Show Jaycees, Ruffs Win In Softball Games Jaycees' Partridge twirled a one-hitter one-hitter against the National Guard while his teammates were helping themselves to the offerings of the Guard pitcher for a 9-2 win. Barker's single in the fourth inning in-ning was the only hit that marred Partridge's no-hitter. The National Guard's two runs came in the first inning as a result re-sult of two errors and two hit batsmen. In the other game played, Ruffs turned on a 13 hit attack that stopped Cals 13-8. Van Orden gave up six hits for Ruffs. Leading the hitting for Ruffs was vTabby" Roylance who banged bang-ed out 3 for 5 including a triple and homerun. Wednesday, Ruffs will play the National Guard. If the Guard wins they will play the Jaycees, because two Guard wins would place them in a tie with Ruffs for first place.
