Show Mr. and Mrs. Elias Harmer had as guests at dinner at their home Monday evening following graveside grave-side services for Mrs. Harmer's brother, Wm. E. Erdmann, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mathews of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. James Romer of Brigham City; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Strong and daughter Joyce of Salt Lake City. , Mrs. Kenneth Bateman, the former for-mer Bonnie Lee returned Wednesday Wednes-day from Trenton, N. J., where she bade farewell to her husband who left for 18 months service- in Germany. Before he left, they enjoyed en-joyed a trip to New York City where they stayed at the Rockefeller Rocke-feller estate up the Hudson and toured many tourist attractions. Mr. Bateman went by plane to Germany and Bonnie made the trip to and from New Jersey by plane. She hopes to join her husband hus-band in Germany sometime in September. , Mr. and Mrs. Bert Brinkerhoff and daughter LaRee have spent the past few days on a vacation trip to Yellowstone Park. Mr. and Mrs. Shirl Poulsen have just returned from a three-week vacation trip to California, the Northwest and Canada. They went by way of Reno, Nev., to California, Cali-fornia, and north along the Redwood Red-wood road, stopping for a time at Lasson National Park near Redding, Calif. They traveled along the west coast line of Oregon Ore-gon and Washington and took the ferry to Victoria on Vancouver Island where they stayed two days seeing many beautiful sights among which was the famed But-chard But-chard Gardens. They visited with friends at Victoria and at Vancouver Van-couver and then motored back through Washington stopping at Grand Coulee dam and then north into Canada and -Lake Louise. They returned by way of the Glacier National Park in north-em north-em Montana and down into Yellowstone Yel-lowstone Park. They also visited j relatives in Idaho enroute home. |
