Pacing the high flying Service team to the win were pitchers Don Holdaway, John Childs and Lefty Tipton, who did not let Salt Lake City see much of the ball during the game. Monday, it was Haymond Drug that was serviced by Utah Service. Ser-vice. When the dust had cleared away, Haymond was on the short end of a 15-5 score. Next week Utah Service will continue playing top out-of-town teams when they take on Lehi, who is now leading its league. Little League officials issued a plea to managers to start choosing choos-ing their all-star teams for the county play-offs to be held sometime some-time in August. |
