Mrs. Harriet Morgan Tyler and daughter Jane of Chicago, visited recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Frandson and other friends here and in Provo and were also the dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Harrison. Mrs. Maxine Rowland has returned re-turned from a merchandising convention con-vention in Los Angeles, where she was a guest at the Statler Hotel. She was entertained extensively during her stay attending the Cinerama, light opera and several night clubs. Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Lyall have enjoyed a visit from their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wilford A. Lyall and son Douglas of Pittsfield, Mass. While they$ ,were here, Mrs. Lyall's mother, Mrs. Louisa Wainwrisrht, now of Tree-planting is slowly changing the face of Israel. Salt Lake City, visited them in Springville. The Lyalls planned to visit Mrs. Lyall's sister, Mrs) Mer-ril Mer-ril Reynolds and husband and family at Edgemont and with a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Wainwright in Salt Lake City. Sir. and Mrs. Maurice Bird in company with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bennett of Provo left Wednesday to attend the National Association of County Officials convention in Richmond, Va. They plan to go on to New York City and to visit Washington, D.C., and other spots of interest. They will be at the convention July 17 to 20 and will be gone in all about two weeks. Mr. Bird is county treasurer and Mr. Bennett, county auditor. |
