Show Firemen Seek Cooperation of Clubs In Financing First Aid Equipment Realizing possibly more than anyone in the community the need for a new resuscitator, the Springville Spring-ville firemen have, secured a new machine and are hoping to get the cooperation of all clubs and civic organizations in the city to help them purchase It. Recent inspection of the old re's re-'s suscitator indicated that a new one was needed. The old one could go out anytime even while working work-ing on a "patient. The new machine, a dual model, j,:mH ns an inhalator and re- means of saving a life, according to report by Bill Ruff of the firemen fire-men organization in charge of the project. It is now up to the fire! men to secure the funds to pay for it, he said. J As a means of demonstrating-the demonstrating-the importance of a resuscitate? and the special need of this new modern equipment, the firemen are prepared to exhibit it at any club meet. Those desiring to see it work, are asked to contact either eith-er Mr. Ruff or Chief Bert Brown of the fir department ucot suscitator so that two persons may also receive aid at the same time, cost $700, and is to be paid for within 90 days. ' Sensing the urgent need of the new first aid equipment, the firemen fire-men contributed $50 toward the resuscitator and have taken the initiative in securing containers with instruction cards on each to be placed in the various business houses to receive voluntary con-; con-; tributions. Several individuals have contributed contri-buted unspecified amounts and a number of clubs in town have also indicated their intention of contributing contri-buting to the project..
