Show Jaycee Red Cross Project Ends; ii Boat Goes to Mapleton Man 3i i Reed Hales of Mapleton was the lucky man presented with the boat and motor, given away by the springville Junior Chamber of Commerce as a Red Cross benefit Project, announces club president, oud Done. Lamar Miner was chairman in charge of the project assisted by Dave Thomas. The winner was announced at a legion meeting last Wednesday evening at Memorial hall. J. C. Meet The Jaycees will hold their regular reg-ular meetig this evening at 8 p.m., at Kapps Melody Inn, at which time President Done will make assignments as-signments of committees and outline out-line project activities. It is important import-ant that all members be present. At the Jaycee board meeting recently, re-cently, Dick Wing was appointed a one year director, replacing Lamar La-mar Miner, who was elected state Jaycee vice-president at the state convention in Cedar City last week end. Kent Palfreyman was advanced from a one-year director to 2-year director of the club. Also the project in which the Jaycee will solicit ads for the Springville Herald May 29th issue to raise funds for their youth activities, act-ivities, was discussed at the board meeting. |
