Show Jaycees to Install New Officers At Meet Tonight The Springville Jaycees will hold their annual installation of new officers at a dinner-meeting and program this - evenirrg, beginning at 8 p.m., at Kapp's Melody Inn. Jack Swensen, past state president pres-ident of the Jaycee organization, will be the guest speaker; Grant Thorn, state senator, a past state Jayce president and outstanding young man of the state, will present pre-sent the Thorn trophy. This award is given annually to the Jaycee member who has the most outstanding out-standing record. Bud Done will be fnstalled president pres-ident of the organization; Bill Av-erett Av-erett and Byron Wardlo, vice-presidents; Blaine Hardy, .treasurer; Wayne Braithwaite, secretary. Tho latter two were appointed. Dave Thomas, Lamar Miner, Verl Wiser, Kent Palfreyman, Waldo Jackson, and Mead Weight will be installed directors. Marcus Johnson is the retiring president and will automatically automa-tically become state director. Bill Averett is chairman of arrangements ar-rangements for the evening, assisted assis-ted by other members. |
