Johnson who is stationed at Guam in the army that he is now a corporal. Fay who signed up for four years in the air force has now completed one and one half years of service. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hjorth entertained en-tertained a group of their relatives rela-tives at a cafe supper Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Men-denhall Men-denhall of Escalon, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Almon Harmer of Payson and Mrs. Catherine Clements of Og-den Og-den were among the guests. tH The Mapleton Lion's Club met Thursday night of last week in the Memorial Hall at a combined supper sup-per and business meeting. Robert White and Hugh Heath were in charge of the program. William , Devenish of Springville was the guest speaker who showed pictures of the Colorado River and the Arches National Monument. Sup-ber Sup-ber was served to twenty-two members by the Relief Society officers of-ficers of the Mapleton Second ward. Camp Union DUP members were entertained at the home of Mrs. Grace Norwood Thursday afternoon after-noon of last week. She was assisted assist-ed by Irene Freeman and Gladys Johnson. Mary Diamond gave the lesson and Alrha Whiting gave the history of her great great grandmother. grand-mother.
