Front, rear and side views of the new models show the crisp, ' modern beauty of Buick from every angle. At the left is the forefront of a Century Convertible. It has a recessed hood for better road visibility, a completely new wide-screen grille, a massive roll-edge bumper, two bumper bombs and dual, wrap-around wing guards. Headlamps are smartly visored with polished chrome shields. At the right is the rear of the regal Roadmaster for 1955. The sweeping fenders follow through to the tail light housings which are at a rakish reverse angle. The up-perlamp up-perlamp serves as a tail light, stop-light and directorial directori-al signal. Back-up lights are located in round lamps midway of the assembly, and a small reflector com pletes the group. Buick's profile is illustrated at the rear by a Super Riviera. It has straight-through fenders fend-ers with chromed lamp housings at both ends. The front wheel cufouts are flared and the full rear wheel cutouts give a discriminating custom-styling, touch to all two-door models. Buick's unique ventiports, panoramic pano-ramic windshield and distinctive sweepspear complete the story of the new fashion Buick has created for '55. |
