Show Eighth Ward Relief Society Bazaar The Eigthth ward Relief Society bazaar offers a fine place in which to procure Christmas gifts and some fine home-cooked food together to-gether with refreshments of all kinds the afternoon and evening of Saturday, November 20, beginning at 4 p.m. Roloc Camera Club Members of the Roloc Camera club will meet at the home of Mr. nad Mrs. Omar Hansen Saturday evening at 8:15 p.m. . Ladies Literary Club Mrs. A. E. Jacobsen will entertain enter-tain for members of the Ladies Literary club this evening at 7:30 p.m. The program will be given by Mrs. Eugene Johnson on Scandinavia. Scan-dinavia. Club members are reminded remind-ed to bring clothing for the American Amer-ican Fork hospital. Square, Dance Club The Dons and Bells Square Dance club invites all to join them at the Spanish Pork Armory each Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. The club is still open for new memberships. Also there is a square dance class being given each Thursday evening at 8 p.m., at the Armory in Spanish Span-ish Fork, in which anyone may enroll. i 8th Ward Relief Society Sets Bazaar A variety of beautiful and useful use-ful Christmas gifts and other items all hand-made, together with a number of home-cooked items and refreshments are being offered by the Eighth ward Relief Society at their Bazaar on Saturday, November Novem-ber 20, beginning at 4 p.m. An invitation in-vitation is extended members of the ward and all others interested to attend the function. S. T. Club Mrs. Floss Phillips will entertain for members of her club this evening, even-ing, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Catholic Church k" Sets Smorgasbord Springville church members and -friends are invited to the annual Smorgasbord dinner at St. Francis Fran-cis church in Provo Saturday from 5 until 9 p.m. Turkeys and a quilt will also be given away. Admission will be by ticket only and tickets may be secured from Mrs. Berniece Carnesecca or Mrs. Barbara Powell at Mapleton and from Mrs. Bert West or Mrs. Lena DeRose in Springville. speak to the Special Interest class. She will discuss "Children's Literature" Liter-ature" and will have displays of literature to show with her talk. Last Tuesday night, the class enjoyed en-joyed an interesting lesson by Principal Prin-cipal Paul K. Walker. Polynesian Program Elaborate plans are going forward for-ward to bring to Springville some exceptional talent for the Polynesian Polynes-ian Night program next Friday, November 26, and townspeople are urged to keep the date in mind and plan to attend. The entertainment entertain-ment is being sponsored by the Third ward choir as a benefit and will include song, dance and instrumental in-strumental numbers with special costume, beginning at 8 p.m. in I the Third ward church. Hafen-Dallin Club R. L. Springmeyer of Salt Lake City will discuss an interesting phase of architecture at the meeting meet-ing of the Springville Hafen-Dallin Art Study club at 4:15 p.m., in the Little Theater. The meetings meet-ings are for the public and all are invited. Taking for. his topic, recent re-cent trends and developments in design of modern interiors, Mr. ! Springmeyer will speak on home environments, essentials of contemporary contem-porary design, space organization within the home, comfort and safety safe-ty and conclude his talk with a summary of the material given. The meeting, in charge of Mrs. Beulah Whiting, will be the last in the series on architecture. Bel Canto Chorus Bel Canto Chorus members announce an-nounce a regular practice Satur- day at 10 a.m. in the Third-Ninth i ward church. The group is practicing prac-ticing for their appearance in the forenoon session of the Sharon LDS stake conference November 28. Companions Club Members of the Companions club will meet this evening at 8 p.m., at the home of Mrs. Mary Martin-. Martin-. dale. The program will be on fam-i fam-i ous women in music with Mrs. Leone Clyde and Mrs. Elaine Fletcher in charge.
