About $100 in silver is still missing. Scott Gardner, 37, of Salt Lake was fatally wounded, when a discharge from a fellow hunter's gun went off. He died in a Springville Spring-ville doctor's office. Fred Allan of Mapleton miracuously escaped death when his gun fell and discharged dis-charged as he was climbing through a fence, missing a vital part of his neck by a fraction of an inch. The doctor's office seemed to be a hunters rendevu, when Loyd Bird arrived with 14 shots lodged in his arm from a fellow hunter's gun. There is an increase of 17 boys and girls school age this year over the school enrollment in the Springville schools last year. Thirty Thir-ty one students are attending high school through the federal youth administration program in which they are given work to do in exchange ex-change for their schooling. In honor of Mrs. Bertha Fly-gare, Fly-gare, Mrs. Ida Bird and Mrs. Sarah Mendenhall who have resigned from the Primary stake board, a party was given at the home of President Vilate Reynolds last week. Clyde, president; Mrs. Kenneth Condie and Mrs. John Dougall, counselors; Mrs. E. T. Crandall, secretary. In the YWMIA, Mrs. Victor Frandsen is president. She will name her counselors. In the the YMMIA, Raphael Palfreyman is the new superintendent; John Patrick, first counselor; Frank Brown, second. The former super-intendency super-intendency was Frank Salisbury, Raphael Palfreyman and Kenneth Condie.
