Show Forum Discussions to Feature High School PTA Meeting Next Wed. Parents of boys and girls in the junior and senior high schools and all others interested, are asked to attend the senior-junior high school PTA meeting c next Wednesday eveninsr. directed by President Kay Johnson. Beginning at 7 p.m., there will be a general assembly in the auditorium aud-itorium and later in several departments, de-partments, various subjects will be taken up with chairmen and moderators mod-erators for each department. At the conclusion of the forum discussions, dis-cussions, all will reassemble and a report of summarization of the discussions in each department will be given. Social Behavior will be one subject sub-ject taken up with Paul Haymond to be chairman and Delmoine Christensen and Harold Bartlett, moderators; another subject is attendance, at-tendance, with Dorothy Christensen, Christen-sen, chairman and Principals Paul K. Walker and. Lynn C. Hanks, moderators. The subject of safety will be taken up with Leonard Harris, and Dave Friel, chairmen and Clyde Lundell and Alma Garrett, moderators. moder-ators. Curriculum will be discussed in one department with Grant Thorn as chairman and Dee San-ford San-ford and Mary Schwartz, moderators. modera-tors. Juvenile Protection will be discussed under the chairmanship of Mr. and Mrs. Don Blanchard with Miss Dorothy Morrisey, court psychologist and court probation officer as moderator. The prgram, which will emphasize empha-size the PTA theme of the year, "Schools, Your Investment in America," will be under direction of Chairman Anna Ostlund, assist, ed by PTA vice-president, Ruth Miller. |
