Show And erson Store Notes I Oth Anniversary Here Celebrating his tenth anniversary anniver-sary m business, Mays Anderson manager of Anderson Appliance! tins week recalled some of the highlights of his business career m Springville as he expressed appreciation ap-preciation to customers for their fine patronage. It was ten years ago that Mays just released from a, German prison pri-son camp where he spent several months, decided to go into business busi-ness in the town where he had attended at-tended school and from which he left for service. The successful expansion and growth of his business is seen in the locations of his store which first was housed in a,- part of what is now Christensen's. Later he took the entire store space and three years ago purchased the entire en-tire DTR building which he now occupies. Mr. Anderson has also added to his employee staff as business increased in-creased recently bringing into his employee Jack Hundley of Provo, who will work in selling and service. ser-vice. Mr. Hundley has had two years in business administration at BYU. With his increase in business, Mays has not neglected church or civic affairs having taken an active part in both since returning return-ing from six years in the service. |
