Show Cherrington Heads 'M' Men of Knlnh Jack Cherrington of the First ward was elected president of Kolob stake M Men association for the coming year, at a recent re-cent meeting in the seminary building, with Ray Colton, staJte M Men representaive presiding. Members in attendance at the meeting from the various wards were First, Leon Bird, M Men director; Woodrow Weight, Jack Cherrington, M. I. A. officers; Bernel Thorn and Kimiall Soren-son, Soren-son, M Men representatives. Second, Lowell Crandall. Ruel Crandall, representatives. Third. Wayne Smith, director, Howard Haymond, Vernon Harmer, representatives; repre-sentatives; Mapleton. Cluff Hop-la Hop-la and Ralph Johnson, representatives. representa-tives. ' During the meeting, plans were discussed also for the- stake M Men basketball schedule, the M Men and Gleaner Girls' annual banquet and other activities to take place during the Mutual sea- At the close of the meeting, an invitation wat extended to all present to attend the M Men and Gleaners' annual ball given by the Second ward, Friday night. At a meeting Sunday in connection con-nection with the regular union meeting, the Gleaner girls of Kolob stake elected officers to take charge of the various events outlined for the coming season. Miss Ina Miner of the Second ward, was elected president; Miss Betty Boycr of the Third ward, vice-president, and Miss Ruth Baxter of th First ward, secretary. secre-tary. Representatives from each of the wards in Springville and Mapleton attende. Mrs. Marta Harrison and Miss Hannah Rowland, Row-land, stake Gleaner leaders, had the meeting in charge. |
