Show Champions from the second rounds will meet in Salt Lake City to compete for King and Queen Pins trophies and honors. hon-ors. John Keysor, bowling director di-rector at the University of Utah Union bowling lanes, will direct the tournament again this year. Last year's tournament drew more than 500 keglers throughout through-out the state. Silver Pins Meet Opens Feb. 7 Utah's famed Silver Pins junior bowling tournament makes its fourth annual appearance ap-pearance for teenage keglers on Feb. 7, 14 and 21. The tournament tour-nament is sponsored by the Deseret News. Silver Pins is open to any student 19 years of age and younger in a Utah secondary school. Qualifying play will get under un-der way on Feb. 7 in bowling establishments throughout Salt Lake and Utah counties. The top 30 boys and 30 girls from the two divisions will then enter en-ter semi-final competition on Feb. 14 in their areas. |
