Show Past Month Busy For Police Dept. Police officers reported this week that considerable damage has been reported since Christmas Christ-mas resulting from BB guns. It is against the city ordinances ordinan-ces for these guns to be fired in t?ie city limits and young fellows who are caught firing the guns within the city, will have to go before the juvenile authorities. Parents will also be responsible for any damage done by boys with these guns, the officer stated. Dog Deadline Officers also remind owners of the Feb. 1 deadline for securing se-curing registration. Those who do not want their dogs are asked to take them to the sewage sew-age disposal plant. The local police investigated nine accidents involving 16 cars during January with damage to cars reported at $1575. There was one burglary at the Junior high school in which small change was taken. Spotlights and hub-caps totaling to-taling 17 were reported stolen and several were recovered. Six bicycles were reported stolen and four of the number have been found. Mark Equipment Officers are asking automobile automo-bile owners to place some mark of .identification on hub- caps and spot lights to aid the officers of-ficers in recovering them if stolen. Car owners are also asked by officers to park cars on property pro-perty rather than on the street; also to lock trunk and other doors when leaving them parked.
