Show GEO, I. DEI SELLS TINTICMILLING Special to The Tribune. EUREKA, May 23. According to word given out in Tintic, George H. Dern has sold his interest in the Tintic Milling company at Silver City to the Jesse Knight interests, the transfer of the property prop-erty to be made on the first of the coming com-ing month, at which time Mr. Dcrn's resignation as manager will also take effect. The amount ot" the transaction was not sta.ted. George H. Dern and Jesse Knight launched the Tintic Milling company about four years ago, and during the entire en-tire time Mr. Dern has acted in tho capacity ca-pacity of general manager, bringing the concern up from a mere speculation to a-pay a-pay In.? proposition. At the present time the mill is handling about 150 tons of ore per day, and this average will be maintained, as the Knight mines alone are capable of furnishing most of the ore needed to keep running. The mill, will be operated in the same manner as heretofore, and the only change to be made is in (he managership. Theodore P. Holt will continue as superintendent. |
