Discovery Dis-covery on Wilson creek, sixty miles southwest south-west of Twin Falls, of the skeleton of a man was reported here by W. I-.. Johnson, director of the Twin Falls highway district, dis-trict, on his return late last night from a camping trip to that region. The discovery was made when a flat rock was sought for making a fireplace. Such a rock was found on a small mound, and when removed it disclosed the skeleton. skele-ton. The skeleton was taken to a neighboring neigh-boring ranch, where it was interred pending pend-ing investigations that may be made by Elko county authorities. No clew exists as to the identity of the dead man. Discovery of an army blouse button and a small piece of khaki cloth lead to the opinion that he was a soldier. sol-dier. The skull is said to be that of a mature man, but apparently young. |
