Show INQUEST HELD II SHDOTIMISHAP Jury Unable to Determine How Nevadan Received Fatal Wound, 1 Special to ' The Tribune. IDLY Nev., Aug. 21. Funeral services were held yesterday for John S. Wright, who was accidentally killed last week at his home in McGill. Preceding the funeral fu-neral a coroner's inquest was held, but the jury was unable to determine how the fa till Injury a gunshot wound was inflicted. in-flicted. The shooting occurred as Mr. Wright was preparing to start on a hunting trip. As his weapon was discharged he called to his wife, saying: "Alma, I am shot." He later told hia physician that he had dropped the gun. The bullet entered the abdomen and ranged through the back, on a slightly downward course. It was the course of the bullet that baffled the physicians and authorities In their efforts to ascertain just how it could have entered and passed through the body as described by being exploded from any position on the floor. Mr. Wright had been employed for about ten years as an engineer on one of the dinkey engines of the Nevada Consolidated Consoli-dated Copper company at McGill. He was 40 years of age and a native of Sullivan Sulli-van county, Missouri. He ls survived by his widow and two young daughters. |
