Show UTAH STAKE TO FETE OLD FOLKS Elaborate Plans Are Being Made for Event at Provo September 14. Special to The Tribune. PROVO, Aug. 21. Announcement Is made by the old folks' committee of the Utah stake that the old folks will be entertained en-tertained at the Brigham Young university univer-sity grove Thursday, September 4. All residents of this stake more than 70 years of age are extended a cordial Invitation to be present, and, while the details of the day's program have not as vet been completed, It is said that a banquet and musical program will be features of the occasion. It Is expected that President Heber J. Grant will be present, as well as many prominent citizens of the Utah stake. Owing to the death of Bishop O. H. Borg, who was stake chairman of the old folks committee, the committee has recently reorganized, as follows: James Clove, S. S. Mendenhall and Charles C. Crandall, chairmen; Wyman Berg, secretary. secre-tary. The following committees will have charge of the entertainment: Refreshment Mrs. C. H. Wright, chairman; chair-man; Mrs. J. A. Warner, Mrs. William Olsen, Mrs. John Stratton,. Mrs. Wilford Penrod, Mrs. J. J. Madsen, Sr., Mrs. Emily Crandall, Mrs. H. B. Berry and Mrs. Leo Harmer. Finance James Clove and S. S. Crandall.
