Although, tne purple and gold defeats overbalance, the victories, the prep school has given a good account of Itself in all contents. On October 7 they played a well- fought parr.e with the Park City Miners ami met defeat because of a fumble near the goal line; score, 7 to 0. The smad Journeyed to Tooele the following week, and. although heavily outweighed, they ;jeeJed in holding the purple and white aggregation to a li'-to-O score. The game the following week proved to be the Waterloo of Coach Rankin's eleven and they were defeated by the Miners ia the Summit county metropolis, ?0 to 0. The game was playe.i on a f!eld of mud and slash and the 'ocals were unable un-able to use the open formations with (pfeJch they hoped to bring home the victory. vic-tory. The game of November 7 with the Grantsvtlle team found the purple and gold on the long end of a 7-to-3 score. The squads were well matched and the battlo was hotly contested. Westminster again took tho road on November 14, when they tangled with Lehl. Lehl proved to be the superior team and won by a ma-gin of 14 points, the score being 20 to 8. Accept!ng the figures in black an! white, it would appear that the season had been most discouraging.
