Show UTAH MACCABEES CLOSE CONVENTION Largely Attended Sessions Are Held at Richfield; New Officers Are Installed. Special to The Tribune. RICHFIELD, May 2S. The Maccabees of the state closed one of the most successful suc-cessful conventions in their history in this city last night, after a session of two days. The convention opened Sunday afternoon after-noon at the First ward chapel, where an excellent program was given. Monday-afternoon Monday-afternoon a largely attended plunge jiarty was given at Monroe hot springs in honor of the visiting Maccabees, and Monday eening the installation of officers was held. The new officers are as follows: Past commander. C. H. Banks: commander, com-mander, J. M. Gauchet: lieutenant commander, com-mander, Neil Dahle; record keeper, Leo J. Parry; physician. Dr. A. N. Hansen; chaplain, Conrad Napman; sergeant. W. H. Fredrickson: first master of guard. Fred Smith; second master of guart. H. J. Walqulst; sentinel. Victor , Carlson; picket. R. K. Barnett. Following the installation of officers, an elaborate banquet was served. Supreme Commander D. P. Markey of Detroit, Mich., was in attendance, as were a large number of delegates from various vari-ous parts of the state. |
