Show H. W. AIREY ESCAPES INJURIES IN CLASH H. W. Airey and Dr. Grace Stratton-Airey Stratton-Airey narrowly escaped serious injury last night, when their automobile was crashed into at Third East and Fifth South streets by a machine owned by Mrs. Eloise Watkins, 40 West North Temple, and driven by Marshall V. Emerson, of the Twentieth infBtry, stationed at Fort Douglas. Mr. Airey and Dr. Airev were severely shaken up and both suffered minor bruises. According to Mr. Airey, the accident happened when the driver of the "Wat-kins "Wat-kins ear cut the corner and did not allow the Airey car the right of way. The Airey. machine was struck in the center, tearing off a rear wheel, his automobile coming to a stop when it ' hit a telegraph pole. The windshield on the Watkins car was broken. |
