Show TENNIS HOLDS SPOT AT THE EAST HIGH Tennis is the spotlight at the East high school at present and will hold the attention for the remainder of the school year. Forty lads signed up for the annual racquet tourney and the first round is almost complete. A number of crack artists, ' such as Bob Officer. Jim Spry, Doug Bftnie and Floyd Romney, are in the tournev and a hot battle is expected to take place before be-fore the championship is decided. In the first round the results were as follows: R. Officer defeated A. Smith, 6-1. 2-6. 6-1; D. Beatie defeated J. Ensign, En-sign, 6-3. 6-2; C. Hollister defeated M Callow, 6-1. 6-4; H. Fifield defeated H Rogers, 8-7. 6-8, S-6; G.
