Show EJECTED FROM CAR; ASKS FOR DAMAGES Suit to recover $0000 damages for humiliation and inconvenience suttered" through refusal of a commutation ticket as street car fare was filed yesterday in the third district court by Robert X. Kaskin against the Utah Jight &, Traction company. Mr. Baskin says that he purchased a commutation book of fifty tickets in December, J 9 1 7. Ho alleges that he was put off a street car at Third avenue av-enue and F street when he offered one of the tickets to the conductor on Feb- 1 ruary 0. 10 IS, and refused to pay cash when it was demanded in lieu of the I ticket. ' The ticket was of the regular commutation com-mutation sort, discontinued by the company, com-pany, according to the complaint tiled. The plaintiff alleges that he was deeply humiliated, discommoded and inconvenienced inconven-ienced through being ejected from the car. He asks the court for $1000 damages dam-ages and $ o0 0 0 punitive damages. |
